Rather than buying a boxed murder mystery game off the shelf
or by mail order you can now download a game directly from Host-party.com
or one of the other sites that specialise in this type of game.
Usually the game will be sent, after
payment has been made by credit card, as a PDF downloadable document.
(You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open them but this
is easily and freely available).
You then need to print out the game materials (taking great care
not to read the player clues and solution if you wish to play the

Children's
murder mystery games
A number of games are available
specifically for children.These fall into two main categories:
Teen murder mystery games are suitable for age
13 upwards and usually contain amurder to solve but have no content

Children's mystery
games are suitable for ages 8 to 12 and usually feature
a mystery rather than a murder. For more details of these games

Murder
mystery events.
There are wide range of events
available in hotel, theatres, castles and even on trains. These
include residential weekends, which really give you time to get
into your character and role, and also murder mystery evenings.
Quite often the main roles will be taken by actors with the guests
taking various roles either participatory or just as detectives
observing the events prior to deducing the murderer.
Many events are now themed around nights like Halloween, St Valentine's
